Blackjack
BlackJack originated in French casinos around 1700 where it was called "vingt-et-un" ("twenty-and-one") and has been played in the U.S. since the 1800's. BlackJack is named as such because if a player got a Jack of Spades and an Ace of Spades as the first two cards (Spade being the color black of course), the player was additionally remunerated.
The game was christened 'Blackjack' because if a player held a Jack of Spades and an Ace of Spades as the first two cards, the player was paid out extra. So with Spades being black and Jack being a vital card - Blackjack was born!

Baccarat
The casino gambling game of Baccarat dates back to the middle ages. Some say it was originally played with a Tarot deck. Introduced in Italy, it quickly found a home among the wealthy aristocracy in France. Further evolution of the game suggests it split to European Baccarat and a French game named 'Chemin de Fur'.
The Baccarat we know and play currently emanated in Great Britain and was then conveyed to South America and eventually to Nevada. The first place to introduce Baccarat in Nevada was the notorious Dunes casino in the late 1950's. Since then it has successfully made its way to online gambling casinos.

Craps
Dice games have been played for over 2,000 years - that we know of! History buffs will remember Caesar making his critical decision to send his army across the Rubicon on the roll of the dice - and thus the origin of the saying Lacta alea eft - the die is cast.
During the 18th and 19th centuries the game of those in vogue was Hazard, which was then adopted by the French and renamed Craps. The term is believed to be a corruption of 'crabs' - the name for a pair of ones. The game found its way all over the world and onto the riverboats and gambling spots of the new world, where it was simplified and Americanised into the version of Craps we know today.
